I don't post many photos of myself, partly because I like to keep a bit of mystery and turning the camera on myself can be a little frightening. But i thought it was time to share some photos of myself since this blog is considered my happy place. The amount of followers/readers isn't why I have this blog, its about having a place to express my creativity and share a part of myself that is separate from the rest of my daily grind self.
This is my everyday dewy natural makeup look that i love doing.
Here is how I achieved it:
Base
I start by putting on my favourite Clinique 'Dramatically Different' moisturiser and follow with Hourglass's veil Mineral Primer. Then i like to cover any dark under eye circles with Models Prefer Eye brightener. Finally I mix my Models Prefer Daily detox liquid foundation in light with Models Prefer mineral illuminator. I like to use my hands to apply my foundation, i find the heat from my fingers blends the foundation perfectly.
Next is adding some colour to my cheeks with Topshop's blush in a light pink tone that is perfect for a summer glow. Finally I use Models Prefer eyeshadow primer so my eyeshdow stays put all day and i don't get any crease lines.
Define
Using and angled eye brow brush i fill in my eye brows using the Australis eyebrow kit. Then its time to put on some eyeshadow from the Too faced natural eye shadow palette using the shadows Nude, cashmere bunny and chocolate. I like to have the darkest shadow fanning out of the corner of the eye. Next is to put some mascara on and lengthen my lashes a much as possible using my absolute favourite Clinique high impact mascara.
Finish
Finally its time to add some eye brightener under the under and illuminator along the arch of the eyebrow, down the nose and top of lip from the Too faced natural face palette. As a final touch spray some setting spray to keep everything in place all day and add a dewy finish, I used the Australis setting spray. And last but not least a slick of Too faced's lipstick in Nude beach across the lips.
Will you take me as I am?
Will you?
