Yesterday was the official arrival of Urban Decay cosmetics at Mecca Maxima and boy did Urban Decay make an entrance. Anxious beauty enthusiast's were waiting outside the doors as early as 6am that just shows you what a big deal it is. I didn't get a chance to check it out till my lunch break but luckily they still had plenty of the naked palettes left. Here is what i picked up:
Naked 2 eye shadow palette (Pictured)
I'm loving these 12 taupe-hued shadows they glide on smoothly and have a lovely pigmented colour that creates the perfect eye looks for day and night. I know this palette will be a favourite in my beauty bag.
Naked 2 Basics eye shadow palette
This palette is great because of the matte 6 neutral shades that can be used in so many ways. As the ladies at Mecca Maxima explained you can use them as a base shadow, all over shadow, eye brow fill in colour, contour and high lighter.
De-slick makeup setting spray
I was originally after the all nighter setting spray but it sold out within the first hours so i settled on the De-slick setting spray which is used to help cut oil on the skin. I however bought it for its ability to keep your makeup from budging and looking fresh. I'm looking forward to trying it next time i have a night out.
Original eye shadow primer potion
Believe it or not but I only meant to buy their iconic eye shadow primer when i walked into Mecca. I knew i just had to get it after all the raving reviews online from beauty bloggers. Once you start using primer you never go back it makes your eye shadow so much more vibrant and eliminates creasing for that flawless look.
Perversion mascara and 24/7 glide on liner samples
I just had to share my love for these samples that i got as well since i will definitely be buying them in full size because they were just so good. This mascara is incredible, my lashes have never looked longer or felt thicker before, its also considered to be the darkest black mascara on the market. This 24/7 liner was a gorgeous deep blue colour and went on so smooth, i don't wear much eye liner but this has sold me.
And so the Urban Decay addiction begins...
