CANDLE LIGHT

I love nothing more than a good sale, most of the time its always items that no one wants but occasionally a great sale comes along. Working in David Jones means i know when the sales are coming and get in first. I've had my eye on this beautiful Simone Perele bra for a while but couldn't bring myself to spend $150 on a set, luckily i waited it out and got it on sale for $69. I'm excited to put it with a white shirt or tee so a little bit of the lace peaks through. I also stocked up on heaps of calvin klein underwear and bras because they are so comfy and great quality.

NOW

I'm just loving the new issue of Elle, especially the fact that Nicole Warne (from Gary Pepper blog) is the cover girl. Its so refreshing to see someone other than a model or celebrity gracing the cover of a magazine. It also helps that this issue is full of some beautiful fashion shoots and i found myself wanting every gorgeous clothing piece.

QUILTED

I never i repeat never, thought i would ever own or let alone want a puffer jacket, I always thought they were hideous and reserved for sports fans. But once upon a time i remember when skinny jeans were a horrifying idea (You can't wear anything other than bootlegs right?!). Things change and as soon as i saw this country Road quilted parka i had to have it, the fact that it felt like a cloud was a winner but the gold hardware just sold me. You really can't go wrong with black and gold its timeless and makes anything look good, even a puffer jacket apparently.

SWEAT

Easter for my family involves excessive amounts of chocolate and usually a pair of Peter Alexander pyjamas. Since I already have quite the collection of pyjamas, mum surprised me and got me this Country Road sweat which I've had my eyes on.

SNAKE

Last Saturday was my birthday (whoo hoo!) and as my birthday present i went to Bondi Junction for a much needed shopping spree. Being a fashion student and interning at Alice McCall I am constantly surrounded by stylish ladies and I wanted to give my wardrobe an update especially as we are coming into winter and there is so many nice new season clothes around.
I started off with Zara, it has become my go to shopping destination and they had some amazing pieces that made it extremely hard to choose out of so many nice things.
I ended up settling on this snake print blouse that looks very similar to the Equipment silk blouse i have been lusting over. I also bought a few other pieces that i will be posting over the new few days.
