GOLD & GLITTER

What was the best part of shopping in the US? The makeup and skincare of course!
Here is some of the favourites I picked up along the way

Glossier lidstar's in Moon and Slip
These are very sheer and don't give you much colour but do give you a nice glow, which is perfect for  something subtle during the day.

KKW Beauty
Highlighter palette in 1 and nude lipstick in 1
This highlighter palette is stunning, I've worn it nearly every day since i got it. The lipstick is also the perfect nude and i love the creamy matte finish. Can we also talk about the gorgeous packaging! I love the nude and the clear perspex.

Other items shown
Still glitter and glow liquid eye shadows, Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter, Mecca Cosmetica Lip de luscious in nude and Mecca Max gloss boss.

I finally found the perfect lace up heels that i'll be teaming with my new Shona Joy dress (have a look here) for my graduation at the end of october. I also bought a C/MEO Collective skirt (here) as another option but mainly just because i loved it. You really can never have too many options or black dresses it seems in my case..

TRAVEL TREASURES

As I've been unpacking my bag I've come across all the little treasures that were tucked away. (I didn't realise how much i had bought and how it all managed to fit in my bag!)
I got these gorgeous matching ring and necklace set when i was in Santorini. I'm not much of a souvenir person, I prefer pieces that i can wear or use every day that remind of where I've been, so they suited me perfectly. I got the other ring in Amsterdam from a street stall, there was so many beautiful jewellery pieces it was hard to choose but i thought it was nice and simple and good for every day wear. I also bought these grid print shorts at an American store called Brandy Melville in Amsterdam, so many of the American girls i had met on my travels had raved about this store so i was pretty excited when i found it. Its got such a cool Californian feel to it, I was also surprised to find that everything is one size! I didn't think I would fit into some of things but was pleasantly surprised since they looked like an Australian Size 6. I could of bought everything in that shop but i decided on these shorts and a black playsuit.
In between posts of the cities i have travelled to, i'll also share some of the pretty things i bought.

MOR

I've been looking for the perfect makeup travel bag for quite some time but when i came across this pretty bag from Mor i just had to get it. The fact that its named the 'Destination luxe' collection seemed fitting. I also bought the matching 'Paris' fold out bag for my toiletries for when i go traveling.

OYSTER

Keeping things simple this wednesday with a relaxing day off that consists of tea, candles, pinterest, tumblr and Oyster magazine. I find i have such little time for myself lately with work, my fashion course and planning my trip.

Perfect sporty editorial in Oyster magazine and new denim

ROSHE

I've had my eye on the Nike Roshe sneakers for a while now but wasn't sure if i could pull off the whole 'sporty chic' look. But with my Europe holiday only a few months away i needed some comfortable shoes for walking around new cities. And boy are this sneakers comfortable, they are so light and i feel like I'm walking on clouds, no wonder they are such a hit among fashion bloggers.

SIMPLE LUXURY

With winter just around the corner I've already got a hefty wish list growing.. Here's just some items I'm yearning for (I mean those boots are just amazing)

T by Alexander Wang leather cami / Country Road bomber / The Haute Pursuit Marble earrings / Zimmermann Black culottes / Givenchy cuff / Jeffery Campbell boots

HARDWARE

After seeing The peach box jewellery coming up on my instagram feed all the time I wanted to try it  for myself. It was hard to choose but i settled on their bestseller Urban hardware bangle. I was especially drawn to this bracelet for its likeness to the iconic Cartier love bracelet.

LACE

I love dainty little details, so its no wonder I had to get this gorgeous lace detail cardigan. I thought it would be perfect for when I'm in Europe when I'm traveling on the bus/plane and cool nights.
I also came across this cute quote and it really couldn't be any more accurate to how i feel about traveling, John Green always gets it right.

OBSCURA

I finally got my hands on this stunning modernist eye shadow palette from Hourglass in Obscura. After using their ambient light powder I instantly feel in love with this brand. They make the smoothest finest sensory powders that are creamy and pigmented. I can happily say they did not disappoint with this palette, it has the most gorgeous shades that are perfect for day and night wear. I am in love.
